This page is updated throughout the season to provide families with kids participating  Warriors Fastpitch Softball on the dates of important events throughout the year and into the following year.

Important Date Notes:

  • 10U Traveling Dates
    • April 2rd - Team practices begin (Optional indoor sessions in Feb/Mar)
    • May 2nd - Regular Season Starts. 1 doubleheader per week in May (Thursdays), 2 per week in June (Tuesday/Thursday) with 2-3 bye dates with no game on Tue or Thu.
    • 10B teams will be participating in the Warrior Rumble tourney @ Mendakota on 5/17-5/19
    • 10C teams will be participating in the Mendota Heights Masher tourney @ Mendakota on 6/7-6/9
    • May 3 - June 16 - 2-3 additional weekends w/ invitational tournaments. Coaches will schedule these tournaments.
    • Thu June 20 - Last Possible Regular Season Game as a make up, last scheduled game will be Tue Jun 18.
    • June 21-23- State Qualifier Tournament (White Bear Lake, Mounds View, Lexington)
    • June 29-30 - State Tournament (Must qualify. ~75% of teams qualify, Location TBD)
    • July 18-21 - NAFA Northern Nationals (Estimated 75% of A teams qualify, 40% of B teams qualify, 10% of C teams qualify)
    • July 25-28 - Monsta Championships (Estimated  60% of B teams qualify, 30% of C teams qualify)
  • 12U Traveling Dates
    • April 1st - Team practices begin (Optional indoor sessions in Feb/Mar)
    • May 1st - Regular season starts. Doubleheaders every Monday/Wednesday with a few bye dates with practices instead of games
    • 12B teams will be participating in the Warrior Rumble tourney @ Mendakota on 5/17-5/19
    • 12C teams will be participating in the Mendota Heights Masher tourney @ Mendakota on 6/7-6/9
    • May 3 - June 16 - 2-3 additional weekends w/ invitational tournaments. Coaches will schedule these tournaments.
    • Wed June 19 - Last Possible Regular Season Game as a make up, last scheduled game will be Mon Jun 17
    • June 21-23- State Qualifier Tournament (A and B in Farmington, C is TBD)
    • June 29-30 - State Tournament (Must qualify. ~75% of teams qualify, Location TBD)
    • July 18-21 - NAFA Northern Nationals (Estimated 75% of A teams qualify, 40% of B teams qualify, 10% of C teams qualify) - Location: Eagan and West St. Paul
    • Aug 1-4 - Monsta Championships (Estimated  60% of B teams qualify, 30% of C teams qualify) - Location: Shoreview, MN
  • 14U Traveling Dates
    • TBD on Team Practice Begin Date - Depends on team and school ball participation among players. Coaches will communicate with coaches. (Optional team practices throughout offseason).
    • May 23rd - Regular Season Start Date for 14U.  Doubleheaders on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. 2-3 bye dates.
    • May 31- June 30 - 2-3 additional weekends w/ invitational tournaments. Coaches will schedule these tournaments.
    • July 9th - Last Possible Regular Season Game
    • July 12-14 - State Qualifier Tourney (St. Paul)
    • July 20-21 - State Tournament (Must qualify. ~75% of teams qualify, Location TBD)
    • July 25-28 - NAFA Northern Nationals (60% A teams qualify, 30% B Teams qualify) - Prior Lake, Lakeville
    • Aug 1 - Aug 4 - Monsta Championships (60% of B teams qualify) - St. Louis Park
  • 16U/HS Traveling Dates
    • TBD on Team Practice Begin Date - Depends on team and school ball participation among players. Coaches will communicate with coaches. (Optional team practices throughout offseason).
    • June 3- Regular Season Start Date for HS level.  Doubleheaders on Monday and Wednesday evenings. 2-3 Bye Dates with practice instead of games
    • May 31- June 30 - 2-3 additional weekends w/ invitational tournaments. Coaches will schedule these tournaments.
    • July 10th - Last Possible Regular Season Game
    • July 12-14 - State Qualifier Tourney (TBD)
    • July 19-21 - State Tournament (Must qualify. ~75% of teams qualify, Location TBD)
    • July 25-28 - NAFA Northern Nationals (60% A teams qualify, 30% B Teams qualify) - Coon Rapids/Champlin
    • Aug 1 - Aug 4 - Monsta Championships (60% of B teams qualify) - Location TBD
    • Note: 16U Gold will not be playing league schedule. Please follow up with team manager/coach for tourney dates.

  • There will be no in-house softball activities on the following dates:
    • Saturday, May 27th - Monday, May 29th (Memorial Day)
    • Saturday, June 29th - Sunday, July 7th (4th of July)
      • Monday, July 1st will be parent vs kid scrimmages for PK-K and 1st-2nd for those in town
      • Tuesday, July 2nd will be parent vs kid scrimmages for 3rd-6th families in town
  • There may be a week after ISD 197 schools close where playing times are condensed or overlapped more due to field availability if the school district sprays fields the week after school ends.
